Site Summary:
The Moody Estate hosts medium and small weddings / elopements ( 60 and below ) in their historic ballroom,
in the heart of prestigeous Montecito, Ca. A package is offered to facilitate out of town couples.
Moody Estate weddings are genuinely elegant, with ceremonies held in one of several gardens and courtyards
and receptions in their old world 1913 grand ballroom. Every wedding hosted is special; we host 2 to 3 weddings
a year.
The Moody Estate has several important limitations:
- Music is acoustic only in keeping with the nature of an historic Ballroom ( Our agent
can arrange for every type and style of music with his band configurations, just nothing gets plugged in )
- We provide shuttle service for offsite parking for parties over 40.
Pricing is established based on the event size, and includes every basic aspect, including the dinner,
floral, fine photography, officiant and even the cake. $6750 for first 16 and $185 per person thereafter. The Moody Estate
has all needed materials in house; fine linens, chairs, tables, fine table service and in house staffing. Our package vendors
have become an experienced team at the Moody, presenting seamless events repeatedly.

WELCOME TO THE MOODY
ESTATE
In the endless summer of Santa Barbara,
California stands a historic mansion in the shade of giant Acacias and Live Oaks. The Moody Estate is an 11,000 square foot
9-bedroom, 10 bath grand Estate standing on 1.6 garden acres in the heart of the community of Montecito.

The 3000 square foot Ballroom was added in 1914 from designs
by architect Julia Morgan, of Hearst Castle fame. In this room on March 9, 1917, Martha Graham debuted at the age of 21, and
it is from this room that she went on to define the modern dance movement for the 20th Century.
Composer and politician
Ignacy Pedarewski preformed in the Ballroom in 1920, while President of Poland. He played well past his chosen play list,
enchanted with the perfect acoustics of the new room.
I want to say thank you one more time for a truly beautiful
day. The location was elegant and magical and the mood was exactly what we were hoping for. We also appreciate
all your suggestions and help with the various venders. Everyone was so accommodating and incredibly nice to work with. They
are all true professionals and really helped turn a stressful planning period into a pleasant one. Teresa & Jonas
